AC Milanda Squad 2005/06
Alan McMillan, Manager, 18/03/51
Known as 'The Cat' in his playing days as a goalkeeper. Alan has steered the Milanda ship for many years now and has taken Milanda to four Cup Finals inthe last few years. Without Alan it's unlikley there would be any Milanda.
Thomas Addison, Def, 11/12/83
One of Milanda's most popular players as you'll hear his name shouted out every Saturday morning. Still dining out on the his stunning Cup final goal in 2003.

Jim Binnie, Def/Mid, 26/104/68
One of Milanda's most consistent performers. unfortunately due to work commitments can't make every week but never lets the side down when he's there.

Martin Coyle, Mid/Fwd, 30/12/72
Came to Milanda from Glasgow Harp and sparks a lot of attacks with his individual style of play. Unfairly tagged "One Trick" by Glasgow Islay (he actually knows two). Milanda player of the year in 2002-2003.
Davie Crawford, Def/Mid, 22/08/68
Commanding figure whether he plays in central defence or midfield. Has played afternoon football with the likes of Whitehill FP, Cowglen, Glasgow Harp and Cambria but has now switched to mornings with Milanda. Regular scorer from set-pieces thanks to aerial ability.
Hugh Dullaghan , Def, 20/11/73
Defender who joined Milanda towards the end of the 2005-2006 season on the recommendation of former team-mate Davie Crawford. Shuggie had previously been out of football for six years due to work and other commitments but has quickly regained his appetite for it. Exceptional in the air for his height and shows good recovery pace to mop up danger. Previously played for Cowglen and Dumbarton FPs.
Paul Duncan, Mid, Fwd 02/06/76
Imaginatively known as Scouser because of his Liverpool roots, Paul is a hard-working midfielder who can also operate up front. Once played in Australia with Barnestoneworth United.
Brian Dunn, Def, 19/10/65
One of the Milanda veterans. Missed most of last season due to injury. Despite using John Hartson's dietican Dunn is still a major threat in the air.
Ross Early, Def/Mid, 24/06/73
Excellent competitor who can play centre-half but prefers to do his battling in central midfield. Had a spell in the junior ranks with Glasgow Perthshire after starting out at Possil YM. Was Milanda's player of the year in 2003-2004.
Gerry Evans, Fwd, 23/01/77
Gerry joined the ever increasing band of former Glasgow Harp players at Milanda at the start of the 2006-2007 season and quickly made an impact with his scoring prowess. Tall, strong, fast and hard-working, he is an excellent team player. Still involved with Harp off the field on Saturday afternoons.
Craig Fawns, Everywhere, 21/12/83
Known as the quiet man of the team. You hardly know Fawns is around. never slags a team-mate off and always encouraging those around him. has proved to be the utility player of the tem and has had some outstanding games between the sticks when Ted is unavailable.
Scott Grant, Def, 10/01/60
Grant has struggled with illness and injury over the last few seasons but is still as keen as an 18 year old or should that be on an 18 year old.
Graeme Hyslop, Def/Mid, 23/03/53
A one-time Morton trialist back when boots needed dubbin, Hyssie has been a top amateur footballer with a number of clubs. Not in the first flush of youth but can still do a job when required.
Martin Johnstone, Fwd, 10/12/71
Another new player for 2006-2007, Martin's previous club was ? surprise, surprise? Glasgow Harp. An intelligent player opponents find difficult to dispossess, he can make and score goals, as his tally of 29 in one season for Harp proves. A one-time Drumchapel Amateurs striker, he also played in the GDSML previosuly with Milanda's old rivals Bishopbriggs.
Stuart Mackenzie, Def, 15/07/64
Experienced full-back who played mainly in the Paisley district with clubs such as Ashvale Victoria before joining Milanda.
Mark McColgan, Mid, 16/10/72
Hard-working and skilful midfielder who is another member of the former Glasgow Harp brigade. Won Milanda's player of the Yaer trophy for season 2005/06. Known as Ginger for obvious reasons.
Paul Murray, Mid, 16/12/75
Also played Down Under with Barnestoneworth United and back home with Glasgow Harp. Can play central or on the left where his dribbling skills have proved very effective. Colin Farrell lookalike.
Dave O'Neill, Def 22/11/75
Powerful centre-back with the same Barnestoneworth United/Glasgow Harp cv as Duncan and Murray. A Geography teacher, he'll be a big help to Mark Reid in his quest to find away venues.
Scott Preston, Def/Mid 21/03/70
Always in the thick of the action, he plays every game as if it's his last. Sadly, a less than exemplary disciplinary record also ensures that every game could be his last.
Mark Reid, Mid/Fwd 28/09/79
Consistent goal scorer in the team over the last few seasons and more recently has turned provider. Hard working and brings much needed pace to the team.
Andy Scott, Def,Mid 18/11/73
Equally at home playing left-back or left midfield. Played for Bishopbriggs in the Churches League for 13 years and also had a short spell in Hong Kong with Happy Valley FC. And yes this is the best photograph we have of him.
John Soutar, Def/Mid/Fwd 07/09/69
Enthusiastic performer who has played in just about every position for Milanda during his time at the club, including keeper. Known to all as Soapy.
Steve Walker, GK, 22/10/75
Big Ted, as he's affectionately known, has played for Milanda off and on for a number of season and was a member of the side that won the Referees Shield in 2003. Excellent shot-stopper. Can also play in defence if required.
Kevin Williamson, Mid/Fwd 09/03/65
Only gets in the side cause he does the website and collects the prediction comp money. Is currently Milanda's longest serving player having joined Milanda in the early 80s. Should really think about retiring but likes to give Coyle a target for his razor sharp wit.
As compiled by Alan McMillan and the webmaster. Some photos still to be taken.
