A disasterous second half ended Milanda's hold on the Vince McGlinchey Trophy.

It could all have been so different in a first half with Milanda seeing 2 goal bound efforts cleared off the line. The first half saw two sides evenly matched going head to head with some meaty challenges flying in but amongst that there was some good football played. First blood went to Scotsman after Milanda failed to clear their lines and a cross to the edge of the 6 yard box found the Scotsman No 9 on hos own and his looping header found the net.

Milanda looked to have equalised when a Coyle free kick squirmed through the keeper's legs but a scramble on the line saw the defender clear via the post.

Milanda did equalise when a Williamson header found Johnstone on the edge of the box and his effort took a deflection of the defender and evaded the outstretched arm of the keeper. Milanda did look to have taken the lead before half time when Crawford got a header on target which may have crossed the line but a defender cleared and the ref waved play on. It was a very tight decision and a hard one for the ref to call. As it was the teams were level at HT.

Not much else to say apart from the 2nd half was completely shite and one of the worst performances Milanda have put in for a long time. No one came out with any credit and the hungrier team won the game quite easily in the end.
